Amerex's class D dry powder fire extinguishers with Sodium Chloride are designed for use on combustible metal fires. Fitted with a "soft-flow" extension applicator to keep operator away from extreme heat and toxic fumes caused by burning material. The applicator can be quickly removed (to provide a straight stream of chemical) when greater range, a narrow discharge pattern or a lobbing effect is required.
