Full Job Description
Fire sprinkler system tech is responsible for providing on-site service to our customers around the greater Pittsburgh area pertaining to fire sprinkler systems and backflow preventer devices. The technician will be expected to complete assigned routes compiled of servicing, maintaining, testing, and repairing fire sprinkler systems and backflow preventer devices to our established customer base.

- Maintain a safe and clean jobsite environment
- Work in compliance with various codes such as NFPA13 & NFPA25 and Plumbing
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand/power tools
- Obtain and remain current in certifications and accolades
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Additional Qualifications
- Prior fire sprinkler system experience
- Pertinent certifications include ICC, NICET, NFSA, NFPA
- Backflow Testing Certification
- Ability to work flexible hours (sometimes weekends or overnights)
- High school diploma or equivalent – relevant trade school a plus
- Must be able to work in a team setting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Other Requirements
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Work in jobsite settings at customer facilities
- Climbing and working on ladders or at heights achieved in a lift
- Positive attitude and desire to learn
- Personal protective equipment provided by employer except for safety shoes
